The Organization page is the home for all user/analyst provisioning and management, including user invites, tenant access, password resets, and more. For managed service providers that would like to add end customers to the platform, you will invite users directly into your organization so that you can manage their access directly. The Organization page includes the following features:

Invite New User

Organization administrators can invite new users directly from the platform. You must provide a name and email, then select a role and applicable tenants. The Tier4 platform has three roles:
  1. Administrator - perform all case actions, manage all users in organization
  2. Analyst Editor - perform all case actions
  3. Analyst Viewer - view only access to cases
User roles can be modified at any time, and users can be disabled directly from the platform. This action will not delete their account, but will prevent them from accessing the platform.

Add Existing Users

This functionality allows you to select a list of existing users in your organization to add directly to a given set of tenants. This feature is best leveraged if you add new users after already partitioning many tenants in a multi-tenant setup.

User Management

To manage a user, click on the user entry in the table which will open a management drawer on the right side of the screen. From this management drawer you can edit the name and role for a user, disable the account, force a password change, or modify the tenants the user has access to. Only administrator accounts in the organization can see this feature and make these modifications.

Invitations

From the invitations tab you can see all new user invites that have been sent out. In addition, you can resend the invite in instances where the user did not accept the invitation before expiration. When a user accepts the invite and joins the platform, the invitation will disappear and a new user account will appear in the Users tab.
Managed service providers who want to add customers to the platform should NEVER give Administrator roles to the user. Administrator accounts have access to the Organization page and grant them access to control user accounts. Analyst Viewer is generally appropriate unless you need an admin to approve the Microsoft integration, which can be achieved by temporarily granting Analyst Editor rights.
