# Solar Winds

## Gather API Token

* Log in to SolarWinds console, click **Setup** from the navigation menu on the left
* Select **Users and Groups > Users**
* Select the administrator user account
* Select **Actions > Generate jSON Web Token**
* Copy the token and save for later
* Note the URL of your SolarWinds instance

## Add Integration

* Open Tier4 platform, and navigate to **Ticket Management**
* Choose SolarWinds integration by selecting **Connect**
* Add the following values you collected earlier:
  * Server URL = SolarWinds Instance URL
  * Token = json web token
* Click **Continue**.
