# Introduction to Tools

> Investigation and tuning capabilities 

Tools is a space for analysts to dive deeper into findings of the platform as well as tune their external security products and the AI Analyst itself. This is a space to better understand your environment and the performance of the Tier4 system.

Tier4 offers a range of tools to improve analyst productivity, including:

1. [Intel](/intel) - check external indicators (IPs, file hashes, etc.) occurring in your environment
2. [Knowledge](/knowledge) - add critical information for the AI Analyst to use for better decision making
3. [Rule Insights](/rule-insights) - what is causing false positives and how can you reduce your noise
